modchips

    ok new question. i have 2 boxes 1 reads error 21 the other reads error 5 is it posibbble to repair both boxes with one chip??

    i want to leave the chip in the box that reads error 5 but wanted to know if error 21 can be fixed by just attaching the chip reprogramming box then remove chip and insert into box that reads error 5

    the chip that i have is an xecuter 2.6

    I/m not sure .....i don't have a chip but u am guessing you can....but it depends on if all of the data is on the chip and not the xbox..................O ya maybe modding xbox is not for you....lol..........2 xboxs with errors....lol

    just a little fyi they were not mine when they got the errors one was my bros and one was my cuz

    Yes the modchip will fix the error 5.

    i know that it will fix the error 5 but can i use it to repair the error 21 then remove it and place it in the box that reads error 5

    Yes, you can. Restore hdd on xbox error 21 as the original and make sure lock the hdd. Then remove the chip. Xbox will boot the original bios and detect the hdd.

    So the hdd now is lock, you dont have to worry about it. The drive E contains your eeprom and memories, so do not format it. After install the modchip, copy MS dashboard from autoinstaller disk to root of C drive. Turn off the chip and boot xbox to see if it boot. If so, you can remove the chip now.

    hi, im completely new to xbox modding and i was just wandering if there was any way of modding without taking my xbox apart at all?
