I installed a matrix mod chip w/evox bios and EvolutionX (via Slayer's), then I installed some games on my new HDD and they worked fine. But then I put a game in the Rom and played it, and now whenever I try to play a game from the HDD the Xbox resets. Does anyone know what is causing this and what I can do to solve this problem? any help is much appreciated.
Make sure all 3 IGR are turned off in the .ini file.. and what games are you talking about? do they need patched
I think the games that are not working need to be "patched" because one does work fine. this is probably a total newbee question but, how would i go about doing this? thanx
find the craxtion program i dunno if it is free or not so im not posting a link but find it and then you need to ftp the default.xbe file over from all the games that won't boot and patch them on PC then ftp them back to the xbox
yes craxtion is free, and since it is used as a tool to make LEGAL backups of games you own, it can be posted here - http://users.bestweb.net/~jltech/craxtion/ it also has a nice tool to make multigame discs, i love that feature since alot of xbox games are less that 2gb each.
