modding using slayers 2.6

i was wondering if i can unlock my harddrive using this progrm or not

 

Find the Configmagic program at #xbins or in the slayers 2.6. Configmagic runs on xbox and will unlock HDD.

 

or you can find a dash boaed that lets you do it

 

k can i use a softmod or does it have to be a chipped box??? what chip do you guys reccomend???

 

you can upgrade your dash no matter what

 

k my xbnox is softmodded can i use a softmodded xbox with an unlocked hdor can i only use a unlocked hd on a chipped box?
