I'm trying to mod my brothers xbox v 1.3 with a soderless chameleon chip. I modded my Xbox with a matrix chip a while back. But I'm running into problems!! MY PROBLEM! is i hook up the pins into the slots with the adaptor then when i put the chip on it i cannot get it to blink blue consistently and i do have the wire thru the DO hole. If i release pressure on the adaptor at times it blinks blue. but won't stay blinking blue. CAN anyone help me I have to get it done and ship it to him? I tried clean the pin holes with alcohol too.,
If you have the Matrix programmer then first try to flash it with your PC. This will rule out a bad chip. Next make sure your Chameleon chip is compatible with the v1.3 Xbox. All newer Chameleon chips are. RustyDog
