I am creating a few MP3 cd's to play in my car, but with some songs the artist name or song title does not display on my stero dash. When I check the properties of an MP3 it shows the correct artist and song title. Is there any software that will 1. allow me to edit the "fields" of an MP3 (artist, album, title, etc) other than the standard MP11, iTunes, right-click and properties 2. confirm this information is being written to disc when I burn the MP3 cd?
My Blaupunkt car stereo does that too sometimes, especially with VBR recordings. I found the most reliable program (and even it sometimes results in asterisks on the display) was WinAmp. The new version will even use GraceNote to get tag info if it's missing.
