Ok here is the problem, I cracked the screen on my new notebook and its going to cost me 400$ to have a new one installed, so instead of having it replaced I decided to just buy a new lcd monito for like 100$ and use that as the screen instead. The problem is that new monitor I bought will not work with my PC in normal mode, the only way I can use it with my notebook is if the notebook is in safe mode!!
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get my notebook to work with the new monitor in normal mode????
Is it possible??? Can you e-mail me with a solution???
    thanks

uninstall the old screen from device manager then restart windows so can find external monitor.
