Sup fellas, just wanted to know if anyone here is using the Monster component cable with the xbox, the reason for my question is that xbox logo is blue and not green at the startup, is this normal for component cable or do i have bad cables?

    TV: Samsung 42' HDTV

LOl man are you using Evox bios with your Chip. If so i think your using color bios. There's nothing wrong with that is just color bios change the Xbox logo color. I think it looks nice like that. I have X2.2pro so i have three differnt color bios on my chip. There all EvoX D.6 just that one it red,one is bule and the other is black. all are the same like i said it's just the bios that change the Xbox logo. Hop that helps.

You don't change the color on the bios it's just on the bios. Easy way to find out try the cables that came with the Xbox. You know the one with red, white and yellow. If the X is still blue it's your chip. If it's green it's your monster cable. But never heard of cable changing the X logo. The cables only send info on way that's from the video output from the Xbox to your T.V. It don't send info to your Xbox so i don't think it's the cable. Also if you have your Orginal HDD with try turning the xbox on with the chip off. If it starts with a green X it's the bios on the chip.
