I know you dont want to read this,

i have a v551, im not trying to use a USB cable,
i am trying to use bluetooth, with the bluetooth adapters software, i can find the phone, browse files, etc.

    BUT,

im one of the hundreds of people who d/l MPT, and launch the program, select bluetooth, as connection method, and then, select from the list of phones, the v551, my phone model.

the clock spins for several minutes when it should take several seconds as it says, so please, clarify in this one post, simply,

what are the steps, to get MPT installed and working properly, so that it detects my phone.
i know that thousands of people are having said problem, and im hoping you can simply tell me what you know, in a clear, understandable response,

i've done lots of reading about using old versions with the older phones, etc. but please,

if i need to start with version 1 or 2, and then install 3.11, or whatever (3.11 supports my phone) then please, clearly explain the simple steps to all of this?

why would they pack the version if it wont work without the prior versions? im not sure i understand why it doesnt work, and i would sure like to. im not sure if anything im trying is correct, as i am trying to use bluetooth, and not a USB cable.

    please help me.

    thank you.

in a simple way, get mpt 1.23 and the updated...
say connect as bluetooth and should work,, i mean i never had problems with bluetooth, always works perfect!!

btw u dont need the mpt if u r going to get pics or ringtones, just use any bluetooth prog. that save too much hassle :)
