most of the channels off?

kryptview most of the channels are off are they working on the server?

 

check your router and reboot if needed also check your provider website for area problems

 

a780 device name has changed i had assigned it a slot on the router hence no cannels. up and running again but ssn and a few others scrambled.omg this system is very hit and miss at the moment round our area makes me think vermin are onto it and testin to see results and only a matter of time.the stb working fine.can we turn back the clock and bring back the old times lol. but iam not so hot on the a780 to many ifs and buts to much depending on third parties and who knows what data is beeing sent back and forth from your internet connection to the third party?? makes you think.oh well tried it and back to payin vermin.i would say very much work in progress.you pays your money you takes your choice nothin in life is free only borrowed lol.

 

have you updated your software m8 evey box needs updated to 03/01/11

 

1/2/11 movies down on kryptview due to svr.dont panic mr mannering my effect some or all areas.yep latest software installed.hmm not much difference between starview and kryptview for svr issues it seems after all.rip to channel1 and channel1+1

All mine fine has to be your set up as there are no other reports anywhere on any forum about them been off

 

mine been of (movies) for a couple of days m8.turned box of for an hour to rescan but still off.all other channels ok just movies. reading area.

 

What firmware do you have on your box ?? date also did you check your providers website in case its an area problem as most could be on same TP

 

got new update 3/1/11.havent checked provider m8 but done a full factory reset and rescan still no joy.reading area m8

 

did you get your net id from your providers box ?? as a lot of areas Net Id have been changed and the only way to know if you have the correct one is if you get it from the box itself

 

just checked provders website for my area (reading) saying there is a broadband outage that wont be fixed till early on 3.2.11. i use bt-infinity dunno if this could be the prob or not.not that clued up with all this to be fair.

 

got it when i did a rescan m8,the box picked up my area itself,is that what you ment m8

you did not do a factory default on your box if it picked your area up by itself the box dont do that all you done was a rescan on your box.

 

i did exactly as it says in the tutorial m8 for factory default,and my box picked up reading area code was 13.

 

my movies are ok this morning and have been ok since yesterday afternoon mybe its vermin messin around with services locally but nothin was showin up on their outages page in my area but that means nothin with vermin.as mickah says welcome to lan boxes when i lose channels now i dont bother to rescan they will return at some point.if after a day or so they are still down then maybe try a factory default and rescan then.

 

if you leave the box on standby for 30 mins,it will powerscan the chans for you, no need to reset the box everytime, once you have the box on the correct net id, it will scan for chans for you
