this is my motherboard,, http://www.gigabyte.us/Products/Mot...oard&ProductID=2949&ProductName=GA-E7AUM-DS2H can i hook my pc up to a tv with just your s-video and the yellow red and white connection slot..like 1 end of the s-video plug into the pc and the other into the tv..will it display like that.its a standard RCA tv... also theres a monitor in the house that every1 uses but it has- dvi-d with hdcp input,vga,component,s-video and composite video inputs.. can someone show me the correct wire i would need for my motherboard to this monitor for hdtv or dvi-d with hdcp input....PLEASE
also--do they make ram sticks over 4gb?my motherboard can take up to 16 but cant find any sticks that will take me to 16,,unless there talking about overclocking and buying a higher ram? http://www.gigabyte.us/FileList/MemorySupport/motherboard_memory_ga-e7aum-ds2h.pdf
this mobo does not have s-video out or composite (yellow rca) out. it does have HDMI out, so if you have a hi-def TV with HDMI inputs you can connect your computer to your TV that way. if your mobo goes to 16 gigs, then you don't need sticks larger then 4GB. as ddp said, just get 4 4gb sticks. note that if you're using XP it only supports up to 4gb of ram. vista supports more.
i'am installing vista32 not xp,,so no worries there..but i search newegg and tigerdirect.com and i still cant find a stick at 4GB.. also can u show me the correct wire 2 use for monitor to motherboard please...
as ddp mentioned about, xp and vista 32 only read up to 3.5GB of RAM. so even though the mobo supports up to 16, your OS only supports 3.5GB. purchase two 2GB sticks. two 2gb sticks are faster then 1 one 4GB stick...thats the way DDR ram works. the HDMI port is the connector between the two video outputs and the optical toslink port, slightly left of the middle. like i said above you need a hi def TV with HDMI inputs to be able to connect your computer to you TV though.
BlakBelt, go with 2x2gig sticks for dual channel mode & if 1 goes bad then still have other til bad 1 replaced.
can these work with the motherboard i posted in the first post... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145184 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227269 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227377 but my board says 1.8 volts... also theres a difference on the OCZ,,which is the better 1..? thanks-BANKAI
