Hi. I had an old computer that as working fine, but I decided to change out the motherboard upgrade the memory and CPU. It works great, but the problem is in the settings. Both Hard Drives are set as SLAVES and both DVE Drives are set to MASTER. I can usually change this is the BIOS w/any comp w/the space bar or the arrows, but it wont move.

Before I upgraded the computer. I already had 2 Hard Drives and 2 DVD Drives and they were set just right, just basicly changed the motherboard. The computer place that replaced the Motherboard doesnt know how to fix it.

    Any ideas.

Try an old PS/2 keyboard if you have one laying around.

I had a board with a bugged BIOS once that did this in certain sections. You're sure you don't use the page up and page down keys to change the boot order? If you definitely think the menu system is at fault, download a new BIOS and flash it off the manufacturer's website.

I have the CD that came w/the motherboard. Thay left it in the computer when they gave it back to me.

Dont think they were supose to,but I kept it.

They also tried to keep my old MB and the memory stick that they sell for about $40 or $50.

That won't contain a BIOS, you'll need to download one off the manufacturer's website, if they supply one.
