my system is: abit-nf7,athlonxp 2800+,gigabyte 3d cooler, 2x256mb ddr 333mhz markvision mem dims,sound blaster live 5.1,msi gforcefx 5200 128. i have 4 color led 80mm case fans,thermaltake memory cooler 40mm fan,ide color led cable,neon ligth fan grill all that plug in a 420 watt power supply. the thing is that the board monitor for windows that comes with the board keep giving me and alarm with the message: your -12v is over its limits and shuts down my pc. do a need a bigger power supp or set volts in my mb. please help. Well if it is reporting that your -12 volts is over it's limits, then it can either be: 1. Software is not correct, contact the M/B manufacturer and see if there is an upto date hardware monitor program. 2. Get a good quality one. Spend as much as you can possibly afford. Nephilim spent more on his power supply than some of us spend on our whole computer.
