    lately i've been haveing problems with my brothers pentium III, it not a big problem but it is really ignoying when we boot the computer up and the first scrren it show wat usally will say somthin like award wining bios isn't coming up the same as it used to, it come up saying system setting are abnormal, i thort it might be a problem with the bios maybe it needed up dating or somthin but i haven't done anything yet i thort i should get a second opion from some one it only started doin it after i swaped the mother board in that comp and the swaped it back any help would great thankz

    I would vote for BIOS if it is happening there. Although I have never seen that error before. Try resetting the BIOS. That may do it. Being a p-3 it should be written on the MB which jumper to pull for that.

    Good thing its your bros pc, right? haha jk, It sounds like when you swapped it ,, it changed something in the bios, all i can think of is resetting it,, sorry, i couldnt help much. =(

    ok i tryed resetting it by pullin some pins on the board but there was no pin on the board sayin anythin about resetting the bios there was this one pin i put on the board and when i put it on it showed the propper screen but it disapered after 2 seconds so i donno i got all the info on my board i could it a Ipex Stingray 2 Ms6163Pro Acpi bios v3.3

    If you can't find the BIOS reset jumper just unplug the computer and remove the battery for a few seconds. That will do the same thing.

    ok i just tryed that then i took the battery left it 4 a few seconds put it back in tured it on and it still did it ya give me a few seconds im ganna post some pics on me wesite of it hopfull that will help k
