I downloaded some mid ringtones off the net and then placed them on my phone using my USB cable and P2K. I can preview the ringtones on my phone, but when I set one of them as my ringtone and then someone calls me, the ringtone doesn't play at all. Anyone know what I can do to fix this? or has any suggestions for me.

I'm having the exact same problem with my phone (V180). Tried messing with settings and stuff for a few hours and nothing came of it. I'm really hoping someone has a solution for this, I would be very grateful.

Did some more reading today and found the solution. What you need to do is delete the two .db files from the audio folder after you upload the ringtone(s), update files, restart phone. After the phone starts up again you should be able to use your new MP3 ringtones. The .db files will be recreated upon restarting your phone, so I'm assuming that you need to follow the same procedure everytime you want to put new tones onto your phone.
