Hi, sorry for the bother but I just need some information i haven't been able to find anywhere.

Does anyone know if my rokr is locked if i'm using Rogers as a provider? and if so, in order to transfer mp3's as my ringtones does it need to be unlocked? what would i need to unlock it?

any help would be greatly appreciated.
    thanks.

I'm new to this aswell, tho I've just posted a query on the drivers thread.

Any help in matters regarding this phone would be a great help too - links for free MP3 ringtones, skins etc.

The question I posted on the drivers thread was that I've managed to download and install MPT 3.28, and I need a link to a driver download that is relevant for a ROKR E1 & windows 98 SE.

Any help will be appreciated guys

Well first of all you'll need a program to edit your mp3s. I'm using MP3 To Ringtone Gold. Find yourself a copy.

After you make your ringtune. Connect your phone to your computer via the usb cable supplied. Then goto My Computer, and your phone should show up as a Removable Device. simple drop the files in the ringtones folder and disconnect your phone.
Next step is to go to Settings>Multimedia in your phone's menu. Go to Sounds and hit the middle button on your phone,(sorry dont know the proper name for it if there even is one) the one that brings up your options.

Next go to Switch Storage Device and swich it to whatever you called your phone when you first set it up. The default is set to phone Phone.
In there you should see the mp3 ringtunes you made. select one and press the MIDDLE buttons again. And COPY to your phone. All thats left is to set them as your ringtone in your audio options.

This works with wall papers and screensavers as well, beats paying 5$ for em.

    Hope this helps
