i have problem with my v220, when i connect the charger the phone doesn't appear to be charging. the battery icon doesn't change and the phone doesn't go into "loud" mode. even if i leave the charger connected at night, the next mornig battery is at the same level or lower then the night before. over past few days i have been charging my battery through my girlfriend's v220, but this isn't solution. somehow the phone just doesn't want to charge the damn battery even though it's receiving power form the charger.
if any one had that problem and solevd it please help. any ideas are welcome.

By charging your battery through your girlfriend's cell phone, are you using her AC adapter or yours? It's possible that your AC adapter has a fault in it. If you have access to a multimeter, connect the leads and compare the outputs of the connections inside your cell phone to your girlfriend's. Chances are good yours is going to be lower and doesn't have enough voltage to charge the battery. Unless you have a background in electronics, I wouldn't attempt to repair it yourself. I recommend RMAing it if you can.

actually your right, the AC adapter aka. the charger was giving out about 35.5 volts!! don't know why my fuse in the phone blew up and her phone was charging fine on my adapter. well long story short: i went to motorola service place and they told me my adapters were messed up and that the fuses in the phones went bad, they fixed my and my brother's phone for $25 each and gave me new AC adapter, so now it's all good.
