Hi, i've got a motorola v3 but everytime i connect it to my pc with the usb cable it overrides my other modem for the internet even though i'm using another port. does anyone know how to stop it doing this? also the first time i connected my phone, mobile phone tools detected it properly for a minute or so but then stopped & now it won't work at all just says intializing...... :-( Anna
The phone must have replaced itself as the default modem. You can go into the connection manager for your isp. and select the moodem you wish to use. As far as your other problem try restarting the computer and see if it connects then.
