whats up all, im having a problem mounting an image and playing it i read how to's but it just doesn't work, so here's what i did, i took my anime collection i started ripping/backing up, my gantz series, and i want to watch one of them by mounting the image just to see how to do it and if it works, so i dvd decrypt it, then make an image using img tool classic, and then i open up alcohol 120 and right click add image, mount image, but nothing happens how can i take my iso image, and mount it to play, how do you make it play ?

What do you normally use to play dvd's oon your pc? Once you mount the image then open it with said program.

Never used IMG Tool, but maybe your doing it wrong. Just use DVD Decrypter. Rip in ISO mode.

I told you how to do that in my last post.

You already know how to mount the image. Why do you need steps?

you were confusing me on dvd decrypter because i use it to rip the dvd's and i get a bunch of vob files, i didn't know you could make vob files into an iso with decrypter, i usually run it threw image tool classic, i had no clue i didn't have to.

Another method that worked for me (and I'm a digital moron!) was to make an ISO with Alcohol and I believe that I also made one with Daemon Tools. I've never used Decrytpter for ISO but it is awesome so if they sat that it works then I bet that it does a fabulous job. Anyway I just stopped and tried DvD decrypter it works but when mounting the file to daemon tools virtual drive you must mount the smaller of the 2 files, yes you will get 2 files with decrypter. The file is a small MDS file and it acts as a cue for the larger ISO file. With that said Alcohol nor Daemon create 2 files it is simply 1 ISO that is easily mounted and played with a virtual drive.

    Hope this helps Dissones4u
