hi there just wondering why when i click the scroll wheel on my mouse it turns on my pc *confused* iv only just found this out and have looked through the mouse options in the control panel and turned off the option of let my device bring the computer out of standby, but this hasnt solved it =[ its not really a problem but would like to know why this hapens thanx Chris
just thought i would mention that it is when my computer is totally turned off and not on stand by or anything
thats really odd, a new one, is your computer new, cuz there is new tech for turning on pc's, like an hp laptop where you wave your hand over it and turns on.
noooo tis bwt 2 - 3 years old and still goin strong, its a desktop pc and you just click the scroll wheel and it turns on. Chris

It wouldn't surprise me either, if your BIOS had mouse options to enable a "system on" function. I know you can turn on your system with the keyboard in the same fashion....just by pressing the Space key or what not. I used to have this one set like that till our little one figured it out!
yeah i rekon its the bios, i have mine set to do that, can start with a mouse click or space bar press. I think it might just be on ASUS bios's but i dont know.
