Here is my problem with Dvd Decrypter: http://i18.tinypic.com/829ory1.jpg

I already have a Dvd image file that i downloaded and joined with hjsplit. When i tried to burn the image with Nero 7 using the ISO, it said the file is more than 2 gig so use UFN, but when i burn my image with ufn it didn't work on regular dvd player.

I decided to burn with the DVD Decrypter and my problem is up there.

Another question that i have is why do people have to use dvd decrypter and dvd shrink then burn their movie when they can just use the program DVDXCopy like i do and there is just two steps. Copy to harddrive then burn.

So explain to me why people having to use dvd decrypter and dvd shrink

You need to check your burner's firmware and see if is up to date(DVD Decrypter can do that for you). The burner does not recognize the discs you are using. What media is it?

As for the second part of the question here's my answer again:

Because the long way is free; or because it gives more control over the process; the long way is frequently updated to keep up with new encryptions. Or, some people like to jog, some like to walk to keep in shape. Is all about what works best for an idividual. Myself for example, I have not used for DVD backup any paid software ever, with the exception of Nero; as long as the freebies exist, my life is good!
You like DVDx Copy, a "1 Click". Some like DVDFAB PLatinum, another "1 Click". Some want great quality, some want speed, some want something "in between". If everyone would use one single software, it would be bad, trust me!!

i use Ativa DVD-r. I bet that's the problem huh? Here is another question. Isn't UFN is the same as ISo? So y when i burn my DVD ISO image on Nero it didn't play on my dvd player. When i put it in my drive to see the dvd...i click on the drive in MY Computer and it looked like i burned it as a data.

i could not play the dvd iso file on the computer. When i couldn't burn it with nero. i tried to burn it with Poweriso. It did play on the dvd player, but on certain disc...it's missing parts. So i burn again with Decripter and i encounter that problem.

I installed imagburn...is that for burning only. I looked very confusing to me.

What do you mean is missing parts? Can you play it for example with VLC player or mount it on a virtual drive(like Nero's) and play it?What do you mean by "was missing parts" on some players?

ImgBurn is for burning ISO. It can also create an ISO from a Video_TS folder. There is a guide on the website.

That link was for your burner:
    http://club.cdfreaks.com/f44/lite-dh-20a4p-post-your-scans-here-231051/

I see PowerIso can mount it for you on a virtual drive .

Okay, let's start from the begining:
You have a movie that is in 2 ISO files and you joined them together into 1 big ISO, right? I don't know how you did the joining, if your new Iso has a good structure.

To edit the post-there is a little paper and pencil icon in the right upper corner of your post:

How about you load those two ISOs in DVD Shrink and reauthor as a single movie?

You burned a multi-session data disc...
You do not need to shrink it...just because it is named "DVD Shrink" , it does more than just shrinking, like reauthoring- splitting 1 disc in two, joining 2 discs, cut extras...

the reason I suggested you join the 2 part wirh DVD Shrink, is because I don't think the joiner you used did the job.

As for Nero, here is how I burn the DVD ISOs.

    Open Nero Burning Rom

Now a window opens, and you can locate on your Hard Disk the ISO you want to burn:

If before you click "Burn" you go under "info", it will say "Data(mode 1)".

It is NOT a data DVD, is a DVD video that plays right now in my DVD player!
Some people do it probably diferent, like choose DVD-ROM(ISO/UDF)...compilation.Don't know. This is the way I do it and it works.

    Hi,

As mentioned above, you are burning at x6.0 on 4th class quality media.

You might get better luck burning on toilet paper hahahahaha

Get Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden media, which will probably solve most of your burning issues.

Try again at x2.0 MAX on those CMC Crap.
