i finished encoding an avi into mpeg2, the length when i play it is 55 minutes (the length i intended it to be). but when i burn it into svcd format, the length becomes shorter (30-40 minutes) and it's not the complete file. i know it's not the cd capacity cause i encoded it specifically to fit on an 80minute cd. i tried nero and vcdeasy burning into cd and images and they both gave the same results. anybody know the reason?
Well if there was an error in the Mpeg file then it would only read the File up to the error and only burn the File up to the error, But I am just speculateing...
