I've been able to convert AVI/MPEG to 3GP format and to play my own movies on my phone (in this case V220). Does anyone know if it is possible to make movies with the phone (pheraphs upgrading flex/flash)?

Try with Imtoo mpeg encoder. You can convert any video format (Mpeg, AVI, WMA) into 3GP (standard video phone) and viceversa. Nice.
