hey i got firefox, pretty bitchin but i keep getting this annoying problem, when i go to ebay and many other websites(worst on ebay) i get this stupid pop up during the loading of the page, it says "this document contains no data" then i click okay and more popup, i usually click okay 4-5 times then the webpage works fine? any remedy to this?
you might have adware or malware on your computer before you got firefox. try a spyware killer like Lavasoft Ad-Aware to get ridd of them (its free). Try it and see if that doesn't help http://www.download.com/3000-2144-10045910.html?part=69274&subj=dlpage&tag=button
sry, i didnt meen like a popup ad.. i meant like an error message with a okay button...the page will not continue to load til you press okay
Hi, this might sound crazy, but do you use peerguardian? or something similair? I use peerguardian and get his problem on various sites......closig it temporarily sorts it. Hope it helps.
yes actually i do? do you think thats the problem? ill try closin it and goin to websites and see how that works........ perhaps if i just boot up the blocklist in like norton firewall? ill try it out thanks for the thoughts
