    Hello everyone
Can anyone tell me how I can undo safe mode with Fire Fox as it has gone into safe mode and I don't know how to undo this.
I installed new software and when I ran Mozilla it was in safe mode and now I can't run it in normal mode.
    Thanks for any help..

    Thank you very much wild77
It worked and now the browser is working perfect as it should. Bob64 you should do the firefox link wild77 has, it allows you to set up new accounts in FireFox.
It does undo safe mode. Thanks again wild77...

I have tried this procedure several times but have not been able to get out of "safe mode". I now have a couple extra profiles in the profile manager. I can still use firefox/mozilla if I disable Norton. When I use this procedure, I get asked if I want to use mozilla as my default and I still wish to use MSN as my default brouser. I check the "no" box and all that happens is that it will not connect to firefox/mozilla so am still in the safe mode. Thanks for the help.

    Hello again Bob

Have you tried to reinstall a new fireFox browser and uninstall the old one, this might replace the settings and starup in normal mode.

Hi Zenon.... No, I have not tried to install a new firefox browser and uninstall the old one yet. Would the following be the steps that I would have to take:

    1. Disable Norton
    2. Go to Add/Remove Programs
    3. Delete existing program
4 Install a new Firefox with Norton still disabled
    5. Restart computer and hope that it is OK

    Thanks again.

    Hello Bob64
Yes the steps you suggest should be fine. When you uninstall FireFox go to start and than delete the short that says FireFox safe mode if it is still there.
When you disable norton make sure you are not on the net. I hope this works for you....
