I have a Phillps Shoqbox, MP3 player with external speakers. In order to load songs MusicMatch Jukebox software must be used. Here's the problem. I have loaded music from several different sources into Musicmatch. Problem is after I transfer them to the Shoqboq and then play them, the sound volume is inconsistent, some songs are high volume and some are very low, almost impossible to hear while others are very loud. Is there any way to make the volume even for all the music ??? Thanks, Dick
The first obvious question has to be, do they play at different levels before you load them onto your player? If so, you may want to check out MP3Gain. There is 2 different modes possible. You would use the "Album Gain" mode. This will make all albums equal in volume yet maintain the difference in volume between 2 different tracks on the same album. If read that last sentence a couple of times slowly it will make sense.LOL The files have to be MP3 & MP3Gain maintains the integrity of the original file. This means that if you don't like it you can always change it back without any loss of quality. I've just recently started using it & I am still learning but if you have any questions just give a holler. http://mp3gain.sourceforge.net/index.php
