Hey, id like to burn an mp3 cd with foldes. I've used ITUNES but ive found it hard to re-arrange songs and such. Which is the best program which i can burn an mp3 cd for my car and be able to make folders? Thanks.
Do you want the songs to be in .mp3 format? If so, make a data CD with the mp3 tracks. In Windows, you just have to send the files to your burn drive. If you want the cds to be in traditional CD format (i.e. store-bought), use any burning program. I prefer Winamp, but that's just me.
I use WinAmp and the 'Playlist Unpacker' plug-in. It copies and prefaces the songs on the playlist with'PL001, PL002, ... PLXXX' to keep them in playlist order. I don't have to use folders that way.
Thanks for the replies. olyteddy - does your car deck distingush between playlists while you put the cd. Like cna you switch from playlist like they are folders. Also, when i burn, how can i make it so there are no pauses between tracks, like a mix.,
I usually like to put whole albums on my disks so PL001 to PL013 say is Beggar's Banquet, PL014 to PL024 the next album, etc. I don't use play lists. Playlist Unpacker copies the files in WinAmp's play list, in the order they are in and not the play list itself.
