    Hey!

My stepdads friend apparently can put about 40 albums on one disc, he says hes uses mp3 discs or something?

First i thought, ahh, a dvd, but then my friend also told me that they are called mp3 discs, and they play in normal cd players.

    40 ALBUMS!!!

I just wanted to know if this was true, i tried googling "mp3 discs" and "multiple albums disc" but i couldnt find anything, can anybody shed any light on this please??

i.e if they exist, what they are called, links etc.

    Thank yyou!

An mp3 disk is just a cd-r with mp3 files on it. I dont know of any special disk just for mp3's.

No way near 40 albums unless they are either very short songs or really low quality. You can burn mp3 cd's which are basicly data cds that can fit about 140 5mb songs on (totals 700mb), but they dont playin normal cd players, newer cd-players/dvd-players have mp3 support normally writen somewhere on them. Theres no way to get 40 full albums on one disc and for them to still sound good.
