Hi, I was wondering if it would be possible to build an dvd with mp3 songs, and play it on a dvd-player. I don't want to create a special audio-dvd becourse my dvd-player doesn't play it (I also don't care much about the Hi-Rez audio, mp3 quality is fine). If it is possible to build an mp3 dvd? is there a porgram (like dvdlab pro) that can create some sort of menu and add an picture of the song's album that is playing?
I don't think any stand-alone DVD player will play mp3's. As far as I know you can only play it on a DVD-rom on a computer. I've made the disc no problem, but only for backup.
SteveJoy- It depends. For example, one of my stand-alone DVD players can play audio CD's, however it can not read MP3 CD's. The Audio is in different formats, you see. If you have a DVD player that can play MP3 CDs, then it's not a far off idea that it could read those MP3's from a DVD. However, something with the menus and artwork probably isn't too likely. I'm almost positive that newer versions of Nero can burn an MP3 Disc on a DVD. Stick with DVD5s if you try I'd say.
