mp3 DVD

    hey there, probably a really newbish type question but if i throw 4gbs worth of mp3's on a DVD-R (using data burner) will i be able to play that in my hifi? it is both DVD and MP3 compatible.

    or would i need different special software?

    if it reads dvd and plays mp3 yes I backup all my music on Verbatim DVDs I have at least 200 gigs of mp3s
