Ok so my car does not play MP3's off of a disk, I am using Sony brand cd-rw's and I have copied purchased MP3's to numerous disks. The disks work on my PC but not in my home stereos and car stereo.

Anyone think they can lend me a hand?

Unless something has changed recently, car cd players will not accept a CD-RW.

Its a 2000 Lincoln LS, it has played others before but I did not create those disks.

My wife has a new 2007 minivan, Toyota, and the built in CD player will play regular CDs as well as MP3 and WMA files, and it will play CD-R and CD-RW disks, look on the CD player or consult your owner's manula to see what type of music disks your CD player will accept. I have an older multi CD changer and it will only play audio CD-R disks and nothing else.

You will probably need to make a regular Audio CD from your WMA files.
