I need some advice on this peculiar problem I encountered.
I did a recording using the Terapin TX3300 CD Recorder on MP3 format at the default bitrate.
The recorded CDR was played on a PC using Windows Media Player 6.4 running on Win95 OS. It could not be played. I then used another PC with a later version of Media Player ver 7, same result.
After subsequent weeks later, the first PC that I used could play the same CDR even though no upgrades were done.
    Can anybody help.

Are you talking about mp3 CDR (=data CD with mp3 files) or audio CDR (=playable in any standalone CD player / discman etc.)?

I'd try another media player, such as
    Winamp
    XMPlay
    foobar2000
