Hi there, i've been trying to split some music i've downloaded, when i download compilation albums that are one long track for each cd, i use mp3 surgeon to split them into their seperate tracks, but strangley everytime i split the second cd on whatever album, it always fails to copy track 9. If anyone has any idea why it does this, any help will be much appreciated.
do you have the full version, or just the demo? because I know that the demo version will only cut up so many tracks. are you trying to chop up a single mp3 file off of your hard drive, or off of a CDROM? maybe it is having trouble reading it. did you load a cue file, or make the track marks manually? you could also try another program called mp3 splitter and joiner. or you could download a free audio editor called Audacity and do it with that.
