i need to do a bulk tag edit (by folders) without changing any other info other than the one i changed.
So since i need to change folder after im done maybe something with a file tree view type system?

I tried mp3 tag but they dont have a file tree type viewing for tagging multiple folders at once

May I ask which tag editor you're using now?

    Kyin01, double check yourself.

I don't know of any tag editors that do not do bulk tags but at the same time I don't know any that have a file tree view type system. Media Monkey is the only app that supports a tree structure that I have used.

Assuming you organize your music artist/album you can open up all the tags at the artist level and bulk change tha artis name in all the albums.

The Godfather has a file tree in the left panel of its screen. That's why I suggested it.

I read the AD write up on Godfather. Maybe I need to put godfather on my todo list. My promlem is I have more than a hundred utilities to this or that and it is hard to keep track and actully know how to use them. All the tag editors I have could do the original request so there is something to actually figuring out how a utility works.

However, a tree view edit could be powerful for the described task. Unfortunatly, I do a good deal of that type of tag edit.

olyteddy - Thanks for the tip on The Godfather. I just downloaded the stable version .70 and will be trying it out today. I was pretty satisfied with my old tagging app but this one might be even better.

    Stable version:
