i got a bunch of mp3's that came from a live CD, to make the CD live and no gaps between track i need to change the mp3's to wavs first but what setting do i need to set the wav at, 44000 or 48000 hz, 16 bit or 32 bit?

is there any other settings i need to set nero other than check off the no gaps between tracks option???

    thanks

to answer your question, you want your wav files to be 16 bit 44.1khz

having said that, converting your mp3s to uncompressed wav then burning to audio cd will not elimiated the short gaps!!!

use foobar and follow the instructions on the link below to burn a gapless mp3 album:

using the foobar process described in http://www.chrismyden.com/040207.php, will that make one track where i cant skip ahead or forward to the next track while playing the CD in a CD player cause i want it live gapless and be able to skip to the next track?

no, it keeps all the tracks intact, it does not combine them all to one single track. if done right it should switch seemlessly from track to track.

It would be good if someone figured out a way to make gapless playlists.

yeah I hear ya. I remember seeing a winamp plugin years ago that supposedly did gapless-transitions, but it didn't work very well. Perhaps new versions are out now, I'll have to check winamp's plugin website.
