I have a silly problem with some of my files, especially MPEG-files.

Problem: Did a back-up of one of my DVD's in SVCD (ie MPEG-1). The copy was burnet to CD and works fine on my DVD. But I also want to play it on the PC. It works if I play it in a software DVD player on the PC, ie WinDVD and PowerDVD, but it wont play in any other players GDivX, DivX 2.1, ViPlay or any other player. They all say the file is corrupt or it can't open the files.

Is it supposed to be like this, or am I missing something or perhaps just plain stupid noth understanding what the SVCD transfer did? And if that is the case, can I convert the MPG-file in to a "readable" file?

    Thanks for the help.

Used DVD2SVCD with TMPGenc, and converted the DVD to SVCD (and got the usual .cue/.bin files, plus a couple of different MPG-files, which are the ones that I am trying play).
