Hi all, it's me again. I recorded an MPEG-2 file a while ago and I want to fit it to a DVD. However, DVD Shrink won't open it (I need to shrink it to make it fit). So, is there any program that will either convert it to VOB or size it down + burn it for me? Thanks!
DVD Shrink can't open a MPEG-2 file. You need a DVD authoring tool to convert your MPEG-2 file to VOB, then you'll be able to use Shrink. Most authoring tools accept only separate audio and video files (except NeroVision Express). So you'll have to demux your MPEG file if it contains both audio and video. No need to buy an authoring tool for what you wanna do. Free tools: - IfoEdit - DVDAuthorGui - DVD Styler Daba
TMPGEnc DVD Author will do everything you need with the mpeg-2 files, including create menus and burn the DVD for you. An excellent program.
