1st let say that all the information in this forum is VERY helpfull! As I was reading, I want to put some MPEG files and WINDOWS MEDIA AUDIO/VIDEO files on to a dvd. I have MAINCONCEPT ENCODER, DVD DECRYPTER and DVD SHRINK. I encode my mpeg file with Mainconcept and goes to the folder which I want it to go. Then I try to rip it using DVD DECYRTER and thats where I fail. I cant open the folder in which the encode file is sopposed to be. Can anyone please point me to the thread that covers this or explain to me whatI'm doing wrong? Thank you in advance.

DVD Decrypter is for decrypting DVD's, not dealing with mpegs.
You've just created a dvd compliant video file in Mainconcept, all you need to do now, is author and burn it.

Thanks for the info REBOOTJIM: Let me start from the beginnig. I want to put some MPEG AND WINDOWS MEDIA VIDEO/AUDIO files on to a DVD-R. I'm using MAINCONCEPT ENCODER. DO I need to encode the MPEG files using MAINCONCEPT? Same question for the WINDOWS MEDIA VIDEO.AUDIO files? Now please explain to me the setting that I have to do in order to make this work ex: video source (which is where the file I want to encode, right?), audio source? and output file (where I want the ENCODED file to go to, right?). Now I have ROXIO MEDIA CREATOR BASIC DVD HOME to make DVD's. The problem is: when I try to look for the "image" file, the FOLDER with the encoded files are not to be found. Please help.

    You're not making images, you're making mpeg-2's.
    Don't get complicated.
    1) Encode source to mpeg-2.
    2) Author mpeg-2 to DVD.
