My issue is probably discussed somewhere here, but I have several AVI and MPEG2 & 4 movies that average 650 to 700mb each converting to 7 or 8 gb each. I need to shrink these before putting them on a std DVD disk. Everyone tells me to convert them to an ISO Image then use DVD Shrink or DVD Decrypter to shrink them to disk. All the software I encounter to convert AVI to DVD or most other formats to DVD insist on putting the DVD files directly onto the DVD disk (usually at a size larger than the disk will hold) & I don't get the option of saving the ISO Image or DVD formatted files to my Hard Drive. I know I could go to dual layer, but I am frugal (ok, cheap).I know someone has solved this riddle, please help.

AVI2DVD makes the output file an ISO. Also, WinAVI just converts file and doesn't burn them.
