MPG / AVI cruncher

    hiya,

    i would like some suggestions on good [free] software to crunch down [make smaller] some AVIs and MPGs i have already from video capture.

    i.e: 7Gb MPG => 700Mb MPG [divx]

    virtualdub-mpg (not the normal virtualdub).
    Open your video, select a codec, save as avi.
