Hi, i have just got a dvd writer, i have lots of mpg and avi movies. before i could just burn a mpg straight onto a cdr using nero and selecting svcd option and to do an avi movie i converted the avi to a mpg using tmpeg. However can u burn a mpg straight onto a dvdr and watch it? or is there something different to do? (problem i had with svcd is that only certain dvd players would supports svcd) any help, programmes appreciated.
A simple method would be to use TMPGEnc to encode it to MPEG-2 DVD compliant and then author it with your favorite program. I recommend using Dazzle DVD Complete. That's all.
