I can't playback some .mpg files correctly. The file size is correct for a large file, but when I open it in WMP, it only has a time of ~ 1 min. the video's there and if you scrub you can see it all, but it doesn't play correctly... any ideas?

Maybe you don't have the right codec to play back the mpg file. If you have created something like an SVCD, and are trying to play it back in WMP, then you need to download an SVCD codec, otherwise WMP won't recognise the file properly, and will output stupid results like an 800MB file only being ~1minute long. Hope this helps.

PS. Check the file properties in WMP, as this may tell you if you have the SVCD codec, and it will tell you the codec it's trying to use to decode.
