mpg to vob, need software suggestion

Hi,

Newbie here. I have large over 10gb mpg files which I would like to convert to vob's. Using Nero or Roxio I am limited to DVD be it single or dual layer. I would like to convert to vob's onto my hdd. Nero and Roxio only allow destination as my burners. Have Alcohol 120 but asks to insert disk.

Any suggestions on good software to convert with destination as hdd?

DVD Lab. It accepts VCD and SVCD movies, also, not M2V (+ 48 kHz audio), only. Read http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/multiple_svcd_on_dvdr.cfm .
It is a trick a DVD player unable to load SVCDs can read it, because DVD Lab authors the mpeg(s) in a VOB set, adding all the fancy menus options you desire.
