I have MPT 3.25b and a Moto v180 cell phone. I am unable to get the driver to load for the phone, I am using the P2K driver. I get a msg. “The installation failed because a function driver was not specified for this device.”??? I also tried to delete the program and went into the registry to rid it of Moto values, I can not delete anything related to Moto!! I am the Admin. Anyone with ideas on this? I am using W2K Pro, sp 4. Thanks.
Well, I played with this long enough....it does not work. I have read all the post here and tried it all...nothing. It seems it is a bogus program, MPT and or the v180. Since this is my second v180, which just got replaced - dropped calls and poor audio... I guess this one is not going to be any better. From the post, I think the MPT is something to be desired also...it should be straight forward and no jumping through hoops. This will be my last Moto cell that is for sure.
