hey I have an evox dashboard and was trying to get XBMC dashboard and replaced default.xbe instead of replacing the dashboard and when i boot up the xbox it's stuck at ms logo. The good news is that the xbox can still play games. I modded my xbox using xboxhdm and was wondering if there is a way EXCEPT for hotswapping the xbox to fix this solution and i dont think auto installers will work because i deleted the default.xbe in /E/ not the dash. But if hotswapping is the only way to fix this then i guess i have to hotswap.
Since you used xboxhdm, I assume you still have the EEPROM, correct? If so, you can just use xboxhdm again to fix it.
i didnt think i would need eeprom because i didnt want to hotswap again. And if i did i couldnt FTP it. So does that mean i have to hotswap and transfer defalut.xbe from the CD to xbox?
