I changed the numbers for obvious reasons.. don't want to tell the world what ports I have open, and what I'm up to do we? A lot depends on the type of service.MSN connections are normally masked..unless they are running a mail server it isn't that easy to get an external IP without asking. I'm not going to point you towards any packet sniffers, they are illegal to use for this kind of application.. Why do you want to know IP anyway?, as most are DHCP and reset at random every time a cable modem is reset or reboots.
Well yes.. Of course. We don't want to make dropping nasties on people too easy do we? There are lots of other ways to get the same results. Google is full of it in some of the strangest places. If your target is suspicious of you they can trap you just as easily, so don't go doing anything illegal now ;-)
