Hi everyone, I have a JVC camcorder where the HD videos are in MTS format. Great quality but huge files, Notice on a number of video converter software programs that I have there are other options to convert to. Was wondering if there is another format that would allow for a smaller file size but retain good quality. Thanks Stuive
It all depends on what you intend to do with the file...what are you gonna use to play it? You can convert it to a mp4 or MKV with H.264.
I was going to burn them to a DVD but a 3 minute .mts file is about 400mb so one would not get much on a disk, have tried converting to avi but the picture is not that good,
