Hey everyone.Ive read over many of the tutorials on the main page but ive got a slightly different case here which i didnt find in any of the tutorials. Ive got 3-4 Avi's that i want on one DVD. Keeping in mind that their DivX/XviD AND that i want to watch them on my DVD player. I know theirs such things as joining AVi's but is that the best way?
sorry to double post but ive got another problem. Well i tried joining two AVI but they had different sample rates. So i downloaded the Dub MP3 Freeze and tried to same steps but the exact same problem occured where a message saying they had different sample rates poped up. i also tried the same with Namdub but the same messsage came up. How do i get the two AVIs to have the same sample rating. Also Im trying to get 5-6 avi's on one DVD. Is joining them the best way or is their another way to do it.I want to be able to watch them on my DVD player
Although I think there are file joiners mentioned here and on Videohelp.com, the few I have experience with have sucked, and a lot of people seem to have similar experiences - especially in light of the different bitrates. You may be better off just re-encoding them.
I second what Dunker says. I have used a few joiners and they either worked sporadically or not at all. Hopefully, the link I pointed you to in your other thread will work, I have'nt tried it. The only times joining files has worked for me is within an encoder or using the merge feature in TMPGEnc for mpg.
