Multiple files for (S)VCD...?

    I am trying to burn some episode files (xvid .avi format) to (S)VCD. I am having no problem converting them to the right format using WinAVI Video Converter, but the files end up going from 170mb each (meaning I can put 4 on a cd as is) to 400+mb/each (meaning 1 per cd).

    How can I put several avis onto 1 (s)vcd??

    Encode them at a lower bitrate.
