I have read all I can read and I think I have a good idea of what I'm doing. Hell, I think I have even done it before. I would just prefer being instructed with details to avoid frustration. lol OK, I have multiple VCD's I would like to put on DVD. Is this the same as "authoring"? Which program should I use? I run with Nero 6 for burning and have DVDShrink. Will this sufice? I would like to have a customized menu with track selection. Thanks for your help!

What you need is a DVD Authoring Program Like DVDLab Pro or Tmpgenc DVD author.....

If you go into the Guides section of this Site you will find a couple Guides on how to Put multiple VCD Files on to DVD useing DVDLab Pro or Tmpgenc DVD author without re-encodeing the Files so there is no Quality Loss and you will be able to add a Menu at the Beginning were you can select which Movie you want to watch as you can Fit up to 4 Full VCD Movies on a Single DVD-R....

Just check out the Guides section ......

    Cheers

I did just that. Used DVD-Lab (cool little program) and the guide. Worked out great other that the first 2 trial and error DVD's wasted. lol Thanks for the info though!
