music vcd to cd but i only want the audio

    I have this music vcd but i only want the audio so i can listen to it on my cd player. does anyone knoe how? is there a software u can download to convert?

    hi there !
    yes, i do this all the time using Adobe Audition 1.5(formerly CoolEdit Pro)
    i gave step by step instructions to a post yesterday on this very subject.
    just look in other posts and you'll find the info.

    or you can rip out the audio with tmpg.
    from the cd, open the asveq in tmpg mpeg tools demultiplex. save the audio as mp1 layer 2. then decode to wav and burn as you would normally do.
